For my collection, I designed for Billie Eilish, drawing inspiration from J.G. Ballard's story The Garden of Time. I focused on using colourless and transparent fabrics to mirror the themes of time and transience explored in the story. The materials and components were chosen carefully to align with this vision, emphasizing the passing of time. The skirt is made from mechanically blooming flowers, which I designed to visually represent growth. I aimed to innovate by pushing boundaries with this element. Additionally, I incorporated a personal touch through a print created from overlapping my journal entries. This further tied the collection to the themes of time and memory capture and showcased an element of my identity.
